I posted a comment on Delta's public profile. I was obviously frustrated, but it wasn't too critical something along the lines of.
"What type of customer service is this? We are told if you cannot login online then to check in at the counter. But there is not information about what carrier or where we should check in. It's almost as if you're trying to make us miss the flight."
Within a few minutes I had a bunch of rude response. Not one actually answering my question but all of them ridiculing me, and degrading me.
This seems very strange to me. Why are people aggressively defending Delta? In such a short span of time aggressive people were browsing delta's Facebook page and found somebody to ridicule. Then they launch an assault on me causing me to delete my post.
I really feel that Delta has enabled this behavior, and I wonder if Facebook doesn't employ some tactic for aiding in this behavior. Facebook can tell if people are "aggressive" so when there is a comment that Facebook wants targeted it can show it in relevant feeds. These people will, of their own volition, attack the commenter.
I think we really need to get over this being aggressive towards anonymous people on the internet when it is driving the interest of corporations.
